Art Directing is such a skill and we would like to applaud the work of Tel Aviv-based studio ‘Koniak Design‘. Nurit Koniak founded the studio and has been running it out of Tel Aviv for the past eight years but she also teaches at Shenkar College of Design in the Department of Visual Communication. Our attention was caught when we saw this particular editorial photo shoot, created for online magazine Telavivian, but their broader portfolio is just as strong.
This editorial series features the jewellery design of Michal Lerman and manages to capture the beauty in it’s geometry. Indocin online Lerman is an Israeli jewellery designer whose signature is polished gold surfaces and playing with 1960s shapes. The quality of the jewellery is evident in the pieces but we particularly like how they have been offset against abstracted pop-culture images. This series is almost symbolist in it’s graphic content and composition. It speaks of a strong creative force.
