LFW Fave: Julien Macdonald
September 15, 2014
We’re going to take our lead from our lovely collaborator Rosie Fortescue and declare Julien Macdonald our fave catwalk of London Fashion Week. Rosie wore a Macdonald dress as part of her Fashion Week wardrobe and posted a pic on instagram declaring her love for the Welsh designer. She made a point of stating that the dress was so revealing that the post deserved a declaration of #nounderwear. We love that girl. Check out the pics of her on the front row.
Anyway, back to the catwalk! Macdonalds Spring/Summer 2015 show was full of his classic maxi dresses and showcased his undying love of glitz. His stand-out ‘wedding dress’ was a full-length lace dress with a plunging nude neck line. He also featured a more playful baby-doll, tiered, white strappy dress matched with a classically long lace wedding train. Across Proscar without prescription the rest of the collection Macdonald had used pattern and embroidery to contour and work with the female form in a dramatically eye catching way.
